Prerequisites:  None 
Materials Required:  Sewing machine, fabric scissors, tape measure, pins. Varying fabrics and threads will be required, but will be assigned closer to project time. 
Class Description:  
This class is for the beginning sewer. You will learn how to use (and be comfortable with) your sewing machine. 
You will sew things for yourself and also make gifts for friends and families. We will also be sewing for various charities and organizations. 
If you are interested in earning 1/2 credit for an elective, you will be asked to complete one hour of homework per week.
