  • What is FACE School?
Face is a private school that has served families since 1996. We are based in Colorado but have families located in several other states and countries. We serve to enrich the experience of homeschool families by providing them private school services while allowing them the freedom to design a custom education plan for each of their children.
  • We’re not Christians.  Can we still join Face?
Yes. All are welcome at Face. We believe in encouraging diversity, fostering inclusion, and encouraging multi-cultural awareness. We don’t have to agree on everything to show each other kindness and acceptance! By embracing this with all who wish to attend it will enhance each of our experiences, help our students succeed, and prepare them to thrive in a diverse world.
  • I have a medically complex student, 2E student, student on an IEP, etc. How can you accommodate my student’s unique needs?"
We recognize that some students may be delayed from traditional schedules or be on their own pathway entirely. You are welcome to design your educational program to accommodate where your student is and how they learn. Progress is progress and we each have our own timetable for how that progress occurs.
  • Do I need to use approved curriculum?
You are in charge of your children's education and may use whatever you wish.
  • Is there a waiting list for enrollment?
Enrollment is always open; year round.
  • Is it really feasible to go through you and live out of the area, or would we have to travel a lot to you?"
Good question! We are located in the North Metro Denver, Colorado area, but we have families enrolled all over the US and even in some foreign countries. Although we would love to meet you, it is possible we will not. It is up to each family to determine if enrollment with our school fulfills their state or nation's compulsory attendance laws.
  • If I am enrolled with face do I need to submit a letter of intent?
No. If you are enrolled with Face you are officially enrolled in a private school. There is no need to submit a letter of intent to any district.
  • How do you create High School transcripts.
We require semester report cards, to include attendance information, and, upon completion of the course, we need the final grade earned and whether the class was a half or 1 credit course. We use this information to create official transcripts which are sent to future universities or other educational programs.
  • My student is currently sending in college applications. Do the schools usually request transcripts from FACE directly, or expect us to initiate the request?  Does it just depend on the school?"
In every case we have seen, the student must initiate the request for transcripts to be sent directly to the school. We will handle that when you provide addresses.
  • I have an 8th grader who wants to start taking high school classes for credit.  Is that possible?
Students who take high school level courses in 8th grade receive high school credit.
  • What is your national school code to be used when taking college entrance tests and for FAFSA and college applications?
    It is 061447.
  • Do you require testing?
No. Testing is optional with FACE. It will be up to the parent to determine what is needed for their child’s future. We do offer testing, including proctored exams such as the PSAT and SAT at various times during the year. If you have had your child tested and want this included in their record you may forward results to info@faceschool.org
  • What do you do with our information?
It sits in either our secure database or secure virtual document storage. We do not sell it or use it in any other way. Colorado is a decentralized education state. We do not report our enrollment unless audited. If we are audited by our district we will provide the limited information they require regarding attendance and your student's information.
  • When can we enroll?
2022 - 2023 enrollment is open. We will begin accepting enrollments for the 2023-2024 school year in April
  • How do we enroll?
Enrollment is done online. Please visit https://www.faceschool.org/enrollment-form to begin today. If you have questions or need to set up a time to chat with us please email Info@faceschool.org.
  • How do I get ahold of someone at the school to learn more?
Please email us at Info@Faceschool.org to ask questions and/or request a phone call. If you want to request a phone call please don't forget your name and a phone number!
  • If I am enrolled with Face do I need to submit a vaccine record?
No. Under current laws in Colorado we are not required to hold vaccine records and we will not ask for them unless the laws change. We trust parents to make the best choice for their children.
  • Are masks required?
No. As of right now masks are not required but they are welcomed if you feel more comfortable with them. We will only require them if we are mandated by law. As of right now, we are being told there is no plan to require them during the school year. As we learned in 2020, plans can change. Because one of our core values is integrity, we will follow any required mandate. Our private school is registered in Jeffco so if Jeffco applies a mask mandate we will require them. Our physical site is in Adams county so if Adams county requires them we will also require them.
