Class Description:  
Spend 5th hour with Señora Tera learning Spanish through music and literature! Each month, we will engage with different versions of a fairy tale or fable in Spanish using puppets, costumes, songs, games, and crafts. Examples of the stories we will study include: The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, The Little Red Hen, The Tortoise and The Hare, The Lion and The Mouse, The Grasshopper and the Ant, etc. Students will be exposed to basic Spanish vocabulary and structures such as colors, numbers, people, animals, and asking and answering simple questions. Students will take home an activity from every class that they can use to continue practicing Spanish throughout the week! 
Tera Girón has over 25 years experience teaching Spanish! She has earned numerous awards including the Bilingual teacher of the year award for the state of Colorado. She is raising two bilingual boys and looks forward to sharing the gift of a second language with her amazing FACE students!
